What's a Galimoto?
Galimoto means "car" in Chichewa, Malawi's national language.
Certain types of push toys and wire cars are also called galimotos.

Galimoto Media was founded in 1999 by Dr. Hans Heese and a co-founder to provide a publishing platform for their growing love for automotive reviews and historic research.

Galimoto services
Galimoto MEDIA provides motoring reviews and historic content to local community newspapers like the District Mail and Helder Pos, Eikestad Nuus, Paarl Post, and Worcester Standard. This encompasses the greater Boland, Helderberg and Winelands area.
Co-founder Dr. Hans Heese is also the South African correspondent for Auto Katalog (also publishers of the German magazine "Auto, Motor & Sport") and some of his fascinating historic articles have been published in local magazines like CAR.
Galimoto MEDIA also offers translation services to and from Afrikaans, English and German.
